‘하나님을 경외함으로 승리하라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
다윗은 죄를 사하시고 죽을병에서 고치신 주님을 송축했다. 인자와 긍휼로 청춘을 독수리 같게 하셨다. 그를 경외하면 이스라엘도 구원하시고 새롭게 하신다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나와 가정과 교회와 나라와 민족도 주님을 경외할 때 구원하신다. 주님을 송축한다.
3. 결단과 적용
주여 오늘도 나와 가문과 나라가 계속 구원에 이르도록 주님을 경외하며 살리라. “여호와를 경외함이 지식의 근본이다” (잠 1:7).
오늘의 기도
“여호와를 경외하는 것은 악을 미워하는 것이라” (잠 8:13). 나의 생각과 행동이 주님이 기뻐하시는 것을 행하여 오늘도 쉽게 악을 이기며 살게 하소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Overcome evil through the Fear of God’
Ps. 103:1–11
1. Observation and Meditation
In this text, David praises the Lord for both spiritual salvation from sin and physical healing from a life-threatening illness. God renewed his youth, making him strong like an eagle. This passage suggests that if a nation fears God, He will likewise save and renew it.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
I hear the Lord saying: "If you, your family, your church, and your nation fear Me, I will deliver you." I praise the Lord for His faithfulness in providing spiritual and physical salvation from both sin and disease.
3. Decisions and Applications
I am determined to fear God rather than people, ensuring that I, my family, my church, and my nation continually experience His salvation. As Proverbs 1:7 says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge."
Today's Prayer
"To fear the Lord is to hate evil" (Pr. 8:13). Lord, help me to obey You so that I may easily overcome evil today. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
