‘의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라’
본문관찰과 묵상
아브라함에게 ‘한 사람’을 네 자손 되게 하리라 하신 하나님의 언약은 모세가 율법을 받기전에 주신 약속이다. 예수 그리스도를 통한 유업은 율법에서 난 것이 아니라 언약으로 났다. 오직 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라(합 2:4).
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나무에 달린자마다 저주아래 있기에 예수가 십자가에서 율법의 저주를 받아 죽어 율법을 지켜서 구원받는 것이 아니라 그것을 믿음으로 성령의 약속을 받게 하려 함이다. 이 언약은 430년후에 모세가 받은 율법이 폐하지 못한다. 율법에서 난 유업의 약속이 아니라 언약에서 났기에 오직 믿음으로 아브라함에게 약속한 유업을 받는 것이다.
결단과 적용
내 자신이 오늘도 믿음에 있는가 나를 시험해본다. 내가 율법을 지킴으로 구원받고 유업받는 것이 아니다. 나를 대신해 율법의 저주를 받고 나무에 달려 내 죄값을 치러주신 그 ‘한 사람’ 예수를 믿음으로 나는 성령의 약속으 받아 구원받았고 아브라함에게 주신 유업을 물려받았다. 오늘도 믿음으로 의로운 삶을 살게 하신 주님을 찬양하며 예수의 증인으로 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
God’s covenant to Abraham was given to the one person, ‘the seed,’ who was Jesus Christ, not many, ‘to the seeds.’ Therefore, God’s inheritance should be given to the descendants of God who believed in Jesus Christ, not believed in the Law which was given to Moses later. ‘A righteous person will live by his faithfulness’ (Hab 2:4).
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Since ‘cursed is everyone who is hung on the pole,’ Jesus bore our sins and cursed on the cross, and anyone who believes in him shall receive the promise of the Spirit, not keeping the Law. Since this covenant was given to Israel 430 years before Moses received the Law that the Law cannot put aside the covenant previously established. God’s inheritance is not promised by the Law but God’s covenant that anyone who believes in God’s covenant by faith shall inherit God’s promises with Abraham.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Today, I ‘examine myself to see whether I am in the faith,’(II Cor 13:5). I will never receive God’s inheritance by keeping the law but by faith. By believing in Jesus Christ who was cursed on the cross by bearing and paying for the debts of my sins as God’s promised only one seed. I believed in him and received the promise of the Spirit, which is my salvation, which was promised with Abraham. Therefore, today, I praise the Lord who has blessed me as a righteous one, and witness him as my Savior and Lord as usual.
