‘행함이 아닌 믿음으로 의롭다 하심을 받다’
본문관찰과 묵상
아브라함은 하나님이 기뻐하시는 일을 행하기 전에 하나님을 믿음으로 의롭다 하심을 받았다. 일한 자는 그 삯을 보수로 받지만 일하지 않은 자가 삯을 받으면 그것은 보수가 아니라 은혜다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
경건하지 않은 내가 일도 하지 않았는데 나를 의롭다고 하시는 하나님을 믿으면 나의 그 믿음을 하나님은 의롭다고 하신다. 다윗은 이런 사람이 복 받은 자라고 했다. 내가 복 받은 사람이다.
결단과 적용
나는 죄인으로 많은 죄를 짓고 살았다. 그러나 예수가 나를 만나주시고 나의 죄를 대속해 주셨다. 그것을 믿고 구원받은 나는 복받은 사람이다. 하나님이 나의 죄를 인정하지 않기 때문이다. 앞으로의 삶도 예수로 말미암아 나는 복 받은 자로 살아갈 것이다.

Observation and meditation on the text
God entrusted the law to the Jews, but no one could keep them all. Therefore, God gave all people the new covenant, Jesus Christ as a peace offering for all nations so that the Jews and the Gentiles could be saved by believing in him.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God has given all of us the new covenant, Jesus Christ so that both the circumcised and the uncircumcised could be saved not by their deeds but by their faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, both the Jews and the Gentiles can be called righteous by believing in Jesus’ redemptive crucifixion and resurrection.
Decisions and applications
God’s righteousness has no discriminations whatsoever. Jesus Christ’s righteousness has no discriminations too so that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have eternal life. Jesus Christ declared, ‘it is finished’ (Tetelesti). Therefore, all those who have been saved by believing in Jesus Christ fulfill the law by loving one another with the love of Jesus Christ, which has no discrimination (Rom. 13:10).
