‘다음세대의 리더들에게 땅을 분배했다’
본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님은 엘르아살과 여호수아에게 땅 분배의 사명을 맡겼다. 제사장 엘르아살에게 사명을 준 것은 이것은 하나님이 하신일이요, 여호수아에게 사명을 준 것은 겸손과 순종의 사람이었기 때문이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
불순종한 1세대는 아무도 가나안 땅을 유업으로 받지 못했다. 땅 분배의 총 책임자와 각 지파별 지휘관들은 모두 2세대였다. 하나님의 축복은 겸손으로 순종하는 다음세대에게 임한다.
결단과 적용
오래되고 관록 있는 사람을 하나님이 쓰시는 것이 아니다. 능력이 있어도 교만함으로 불순종하는 사람대신 하나님은 하나님을 믿고 겸손히 순종하는 사람들을 택하여 쓰신다. 나는 이제 나이가 많이 들었고 육신적으로 약하다. 나는 믿음으로 사는지 나 자신을 살펴본다. 나는 누구에게 모든 것을 맡겨야하나?
‘God allocated the land to the next generation leaders.’
Num 34:16-29
Observation and meditation on the text
God gave mission of allocating the promised land to the priest Eleazar and Joshua. By entrusting the priest Eleaza, God declared that it was done by God, and by entrusting Joshua, God declared that God used a man of humility and obedience.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
No one disobedient 1st generation could receive the land of Canaan as their inheritance. The head leaders and each appointed leader from the 12 tribes were the 2nd generation Israelites. God blesses the obedient humble leaders among the next generation.
Decisions and applications
It is not God’s customary way of choosing and using leaders only among the experienced and able people. Instead of disobeying able people, God always uses people of faith who obey God in humility faithfully. Now I am getting old and physically being weakened. To whom should I entrust leadership with all the authority and power for the next generation?
