‘주의 백성을 주의 원수들에게서 지켜 주소서’

하나님만이 이스라엘을 주변 강대국으로부터 구원하신다. 주의 원수들은 하나님을 무시하는 자들이다. 하나님을 믿는 성도는 늘 그들에게 고난을 겪는다. 그러나 주님께 탄원하여 주가 구원한다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
시편기자는 과거에 이스라엘을 구원하신 하나님을 기억한다. 드보라 와 바락이 기손 강에서 하솔 왕 야빈 과 장관 시스라를 멸절 했다. 기드온의 요청에 에브라임이 미디안의 오렙과 스엡을 물리 쳤다. 기드온이 세바와 살문나를 이겼듯이 나도 오늘 이긴다.
결단과 적용
24살때 나를 찾아와 구원하사 내 인생의 방향과 목적을 바꾸신 주님을 찬양한다. 그 때부터 48년동안 나의 고난가운데 탄원하는 기도를 들으시고 응답하신 하나님이 오늘도 나를 이기게 하신다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Only God could deliver Israel from powerful surrounding nations. God’s enemies were those who have never accepted the Lord as their God. The believers of God have always been persecuted by them. Therefore, the believers always plea to God to be saved.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The psalmist remembered God who had delivered the Israelites from enemies in the past. God reminded him of Deborah and Barrak who destroyed Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon. He remembered Ephraim who destroyed Oreb and Zeeb at Gideon’s request. As Gideon destroyed Zeba and Zalmunna, the Lord will enable me to win over my enemies.
Decisions and applications
I praise the Lord who had found me and changed my life’s direction at the age of 24. Since that time on God who has answered my pleas in prayers whenever I was being afflicted has enabled me to win over all sufferings. And he will do the same thing today whenever I plea to God.
