‘고난이 닥치면 먼저 하나님을 높여 찬양하라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님은 이스라엘의 주요 절기에 먼저 찬양으로 하나님을 예배하는 규례를 정해주었다. 하나님을 높일 때 고난의 짐과 우상이 사라진다. 입을 크게 열어 찬양할 때 은혜가 충만하게 임한다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님을 높이면 내가 세상에서 높일 우상에서 자유 함을 얻는다. 하나님을 두려워하면 모든 두려움에서 놓임 받는다. 하나님을 향한 기대가 크면 클수록 하나님이 채워 주시는 은혜가 upgrade 된다
결단과 적용
은퇴 후 가장 힘든 것이 정기적으로 드리던 새벽예배, 수요예배, 각종 기도회 및 주일예배가 정기적이 되지 못함이다. 지하실에서 혼자 드리는 예배가 계속되게 하소서! 옥중에서 바울과 실라 가 찬양하며 기도할 때 응답하신 하나님이 나를 풀어 주실 줄 믿습니다.
‘In afflictions lift up God in worship with praise.’
Ps 81:1-16
Observation and meditation on the text
God gave the Israelites decree to lift God’s name and worship Him with praises at every festival. When I honor and lift God, I am set free from any burdens and idols. When I open my mouth widely with great expectation of God’s grace, God never fails to fill me with God’s power so that I may obey and honor him only.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
If I honor and lift God, then I shall be set free from any idols. If I fear of God, I shall be set free from any worldly fear. As much as my expectation of God increases, God’s grace and power increases proportionately on me so that my life can be also upgraded.
Decisions and applications
One of the hardest things in my life upon retirement is that I don’t attend such regular worship services as dawn, Wed, various prayer meetings and Sunday services. Therefore, I should abet myself to strengthen my worship service with praises and prayers in the basement every day. God who set Paul and Silas free from the prison cell when they worship God with praises and prayers in night will also set me free whenever I get nearer to God as I worship Him.
