‘40일의 불신앙이 40년의 재앙으로’
본문 관찰과 묵상
40일 정탐 후에 10명의 정탐꾼은 불신앙으로 원망과 불평으로 백성들을 선동했다. 하나님은 20세 이상의 출애굽 1세대를 하루를 일년으로 40년을 광야에서 방황하다 죽어 가나안 입성을 불허했다.

하나님의 약속을 믿고 다수의 반란에 동조하지 않은 여호수아와 갈렙은 출애굽 후 광야에서 태어난 20세 이하 다음세대와 함께 약속의 땅 가나안 입성을 허락했다. 불평대신 감사를 드려라.
결단과 적용
‘내 입의 말과 마음의 묵상이 주의 앞에 열납되기를 원하나이다’ (시19:14). ‘여호와여 내 입 앞에 파숫군을 세우시고 내 입술의 문을 지키소서’(시 141:3). 믿음의 언어와 순종의 삶으로 매일 감사하며 살게하소서! 감사하는 마음에 그리스도가 주시는 평강이 임하게 하소서(골 3:15).

Observation and meditation on the text
10 explorers instigated people upon completion of their expedition with resentment and complain. God judged the first generation of the Jews over 20 years of age at Exodus, and never let them go into Canaan to live but die in the wilderness for 40 years, one year for each of the 40 days they explored the land.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God allowed Joshua and Caleb who believed in God’s promises and never joined with the unbelievers enter the land of Canaan along with the second generation of the Jews who were less than 20 years of age who were born in the wilderness after Exodus. I am called to give thanks to God instead of grumbling and complaining.
Decisions and applications
‘May those words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight. Lord my Rock and my Redeemer’ (Ps 19:14). ‘Set the guard over my mouth. Lord, keep watch over the door of my lips’ (Ps 141:3). Lord, please help me to live an obedient life to you with my words of faith with thanksgiving. Let the peace of Christ rule in my heart with my thanksgiving, Lord! (Col 3:15).
