‘나의 관점을 예수의 관점으로 확장시켜라!’
본문 관찰과 묵상
종교지도자들은 예수님을 자신들의 관점으로 보았다. 아무것도 아닌 사람이 성전에서 가르치는 권세를 누가 주었냐고 물었다. 예수님은 세례요한이 무슨 권세로 세례를 주는가 반문하였다. 그들은 올무에 걸려 모른다고 했다. 예수님도 무슨 권세로 가르치는지 말해주지 않겠다고 하셨다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
나의 관점과 생각으로 예수님을 보지 말라. 예수님의 관점으로 나를 보아야 한다. 예수님은 내가 기도의 사람이 되어야 예수님이 구세주임을 믿고 구원받기를 원하신다. 기도가 나의 좁은 소견을 하나님의 관점으로 넓혀주신다. 내 생각과 내 뜻이 아닌 주님의 생각과 뜻이 확장되어야 한다.
결단과 적용
리더들을 양육하고 코칭할 때 항상 부딪히는 벽이다. 나의 생각과 뜻을 전혀 모르고 눈 앞의 것만 보고 따지고 들이대는 사람들을 보면 마음이 아프다. 아니 슬프다. 멘토의 생각과 뜻을 분별하려고 애쓰는 사람들이 많지 않다. 자신의 뜻을 관철하는 것이 대단한줄 알고 산다. 나도 20대 30대에는 그렇게 살았다. 오늘도 끝까지 불쌍히 여기는 마음으로 포기하지 말고 끝까지 가보자.

Observation and meditation
Religious leaders judged Jesus by their own perspectives. They considered Jesus nobody, and asked Jesus who gave him such authority to teach people at the temple of God. Jesus replied but asked them also to give him answer; by what authority John the Baptist gave baptism. They were trapped and could not give Jesus their answer. They said they did not know. Jesus also said to them he did not want to tell it.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Never view Jesus by my narrow perspective. I must see myself by Jesus’ view. Jesus taught me to pray so that I may view Jesus as the Savior so that I may be saved. It is prayer which transforms and expands my narrow perspective into God’s holistic view. I hear the voice of the Lord that I must accept Jesus will and view instead of insisting my own view stubbornly.
Decisions and applications
When I coach and mentoring leaders, I usually hit the wall. I am so hurt by some who never fathom my will and intention because they inclined to be stuck with their own views only. I am so saddened by them. There are not many who try to understand mentor’s view. They are so proud enough to persuade me by their narrow perspectives. Yes, they remind me of my 20’s and 30’s life. However, I will never give up on them. I will try till the end when they realize my intention and heart with Jesus’ compassionate heart.
