‘고난 받는 메시야 앞에 선 사람들’
본문관찰과 묵상
고난 받는 구세주 앞에서 군인들은 예수의 옷을 탐하였다. 함께 못박힌 강도중 하나는 예수를 끝까지 저주 모욕했다. 지나가는 사람들도 조롱했다. 대제사장과 서기관들도 희롱했다. 그들은 자기의 의와 탐욕으로 눈이 멀었다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
오늘도 나를 중심으로 살고 나의 육신의 탐욕으로 사는 자들은 고난받는 왕과 메시야를 보지 못한다. 나의 탐욕과 나의 의의 교만으로 눈이 멀었기 때문이다. 나의 눈에서 비늘같은 것이 떨어져야 한다. 나의 영안을 열어주소서!
결단과 적용
죄의 삯은 사망이다. 내가 당할 십자가의 사망을 예수 그리스도가 온 몸으로 십자가에서 대신 당하시고 죽으심으로 나의 죄 값을 치러 주셨다. 예수님을 나의 구세주 나의 왕으로 믿고 모시는 자만이 죄에 대하여 죽고 하나님의 의에 대하여 다시 부활한다. 오늘도 예수의 죽으심과 부활을 체험하며 사는 한날이 되게 하소서!
‘People before the suffering Messiah.’

Observation and meditation on the text
In the presence of the suffering Messiah, the soldiers wanted to take his clothes. One of the criminals who was crucified with Jesus cursed him all the way to the end. The passers-by also mocked Jesus. The High Priest and the Scribes also ridiculed Jesus. They were blinded due to their covetousness.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Self-centered people and the covetous cannot see Jesus who is suffering king and Messiah because they are blinded by their self-righteousness and as well as covetousness. Something like scales must fall from my eyes. Lord, please open my eyes to see you!
Decisions and applications
The wage of sin is death. Jesus Christ suffered with his entire body for the sake of me who should be killed due to my sins and Jesus paid the price of my sins. Only such a sinner like me who repented of my sins and believe and accept Jesus as my Savior and Lord shall be dead to my sins and raise again to God’s righteousness. Lord, help me today to experience your death and resurrection in my life.
