‘욕심으로 유혹당해 시험에 들지 말라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님은 나를 유혹하지 않는다. 내가 욕심으로 스스로 시험에 든다. 듣기는 늦게하고 말하고 성내는 것을 빨리함으로 시험에 든다. 말씀을 듣기만 하고 행함이 없으니 시험에 든다. 내 혀에 재갈을 물리고 고아와 과부를 환난중에 돌아볼 때 나는 시험을 이기고 승리한다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
나 스스로가 나를 시험에 들게 한다. 인내하지 못하고 분노하고 행함이 없으니 늘 시험들어 산다. 하나님 말씀으로 매일 QT하여 말씀으로 나를 수술한다. 기도를 통하여 주님의 음성을 듣는다. 나의 행함으로 내 믿음을 증명하며 오늘을 산다.
결단과 적용
오늘도 인내하며 산다. 인내가 없으면 약속의 유업을 받지 못한다. 여기까지 참았으니 앞으로도 인내하며 산다. 말씀과 기도로 나를 쳐서 복종시키며 문제를 바꾸려하지 않고 오히려 나를 변화시키기 위하여 전심을 다한다. 항상 나의 도움이 필요한 사람들을 돌보며 오늘을 산다.
‘Never be tempted by your covetousness’
James. 1:12-27
Observation and meditation on the text
God never entices or tempts me. My covetousness causes me to fall. When I am lazy to listen to God and fast to burst into rage, I fall in temptation. When I never live out what I have heard from God, I am tempted. However, when I control my mouth and help orphans and widows in their sufferings, I overcome trials and temptations.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I fall in temptation by myself. I fall because I act impatiently, burst in anger quickly and neve live out what I hear from God. On the contrary, when I do my QT daily with prayers, the word of God works on me. Through prayers I hear the voice of the Lord. I prove my invisible faith by visible deeds today.
Decisions and applications
Therefore, I patiently live today. Unless practicing longsuffering, I shall not receive God’s inheritance. I have endured up to now so I will live with patience in the future. I discipline and chastise myself with the living word of God and prayers, I do my best to change myself instead of changing my circumstances. I live today as I take care of the people in needs.
