‘성령세례를 받으면 예수와 연합이 된다’
본문관찰과 묵상
초막절 마지막날 예수는 목마른 자들은 예수를 믿으면 그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나온다고 했다. 그들이 받을 성령을 말하는데 아직 예수가 죽고 부활하기 전 이어서 부활하신 예수가 약속하는 그 성령은 아직 없었다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
물세례는 모세와 연합되는 것이다 (고전 10:1). 율법없이 살던 히브리인들이 율법을 회복하여 죄인임을 깨닫게 했다. 부활하신 예수의 영이 임하여 성령충만함 받으면 예수와 연합되는 것이다. 내안에 예수가 주인으로 임한다.
결단과 적용
말씀과 기도를 통해 오늘도 성령충만함을 받기 원한다. 오순절에 성령충만함을 받았던 베드로도 성령충만함을 잃었을 때 외식하는 자가 되어 바울에게 책망받았다 (갈2:11). 성령의 충만함을 받기 위해 오늘도 말씀과 기도에 힘쓴다. 성령충만함으로 예수를 전하며 산다. 오늘 예수는 누구인가?를 주제로 안디옥영어교회에서 설교했다. 계속 예수를 전하며 살리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
On the last day of the Festival, Jesus invited people to come to him to believe in him so that rivers of living water would flow from within them. Jesus prophesied the Holy Spirit they would receive. However, the Spirit had not been given up to that time because Jesus was not glorified yet. He was not risen again from dead yet.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Water baptism unites people with Moses (I Co 10:1). Hebrews who lived without the law received it, and they began to realize that they were sinners. If I am filled with the Holy Spirit who is sent by the resurrected Jesus, I shall be united with Jesus. In my inner being Jesus will dwell as the Lord of my life (Eph 3:16-19).
Decisions and applications
I anticipate today to be filled with the Holy Spirit by doing QT and prayers. Peter, who was filled with the Holy Spirit, was rebuked by Paul when the Holy Spirit was weakening in his heart, he practiced hypocritic deeds. To be filled with the Holy Spirit, I endeavor doing QT and prayer. I witness Jesus by being filled with the Holy Spirit. Today I just preached, ‘who is Jesus?’ to the congregation in ACE. I will keep on preaching Jesus every day consistently.
