‘하나님을 배반한 자들이 받는 심판’
본문관찰과 묵상
하나님을 배반한 자들의 삶의 특징은 이방인처럼 음행과 간음과 술에 취한 삶이다. 그들에게 임하는 심판은 옛날 애굽의 포로가 된 것처럼 앗수르의 포로가 되어 더러운 것을 먹을 것이다. 하나님이 열납치 않는 삶이 될 것이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
심판의 결과는 다시 포로가 되어 산다. 사사기의 기브아의 시대같이 레위인 첩이 능욕당하고 같은 동족에게 살해된 것 같이 영적간음인 우상숭배로 말미암아 기브아시대같은 죽음의 심판을 받게 될것이라고 호세아는 예언했다.
결단과 적용
내가 육적으로 영적으로 간음하고 술취하듯 우상숭배와 이 세상에서 취해 산다면 내가 아무리 예배를 드려도 하나님은 열납하지 않으신다. 하나님이 아무리 많이 드려도 기뻐하지 않으신다. 결국 내가 섬기는 우상들의 포로가 되어 자유도 잃고 세상의 노예가 되어 산다. 기브아 시대처럼 서로 죽이며 산다. 내가 영육간에 하나님이 열랍하시기에 거룩하고 합당한 제물이 되어 살리라! 나의 성화와 성결과 영적인 순수함이 갈수록 승하게 도와주소서! 하나님의 심판대신 하나님이 열납하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 매일 살게 하소서!
‘God’s judgment on the betrayers’
Hos 9:1-9
Observation and meditation on the text
The characteristics of the Law breakers of the Lord is the life of physical and spiritual adultery of the gentiles and the drunkards. God’s judgment on them shall be taken to Assyrian captivity like their ancestors’ Egyptian bondage, and they would eat unclean gentile food. Their lives shall never be acceptable to God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
As a result of God’s judgment, they should be taken into Assyrian captivity. Like the era of Gibeah which was the land of Benjamite, a concubine of a Levite was raped and murdered by the same people. Hosea prophesied that due to their spiritual adultery of Ephraim, they would also be judged by God to be destroyed like the people in Gibeah.
Decisions and applications
If I am drunken by the worldly trends and idol worship and fall into physical or spiritual adultery, God will not accept my worship nor be pleased by my offerings even though I sacrifice many or much more things to God. After all, I shall be a slave of idols whom I obey and live a life of a slave who never enjoys freedom. Like the people in the days of Gibeah, contemporary idol worshipers shall kill one another. Therefore, I will live as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God. Lord, please empower me to be more sanctified, purified so that I can live spiritually refined more and more every day. Lord, please inspire me so that I may live as a living sacrifice every day instead of receiving God’s judgment.
