‘주님의 고난에 동참하는 것은 특권이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
아들 자격이 없는 죄인을 주님이 입양해 양자로 삼아주셨다. 성령은 내가 하나님의 아들임을 항상 증언해 주신다. 나로 인해 고난 당하신 예수님의 고난에 동참하는 것은 내게는 큰 특권이다.
QT 를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
아버지의 아들이 되었으니 아버지의 명예에 누가되게 하는 육신의 정욕을 매일 성령의 능력으로 십자가에 죽이며 산다. 매일 매일 죄에 대해 죽으며 사니 매일 살아난다.
결단과 적용
예수를 믿음으로 하나님의 자녀가 되고 상속자가 되었다. 예수와 함께 하나님의 아들 된 영광을 받기 위해 나는 오늘도 복음과 함께 고난을 받는다. 그런데 참 평안하다. 손해보고 거짓고소로 억울함 을 당해도 기쁘다. 전에 있던 선지자들도 똑 같은 일을 당했으니 주님은 나에게 기뻐하고 즐거워하라 하늘에서 상이 크다 하신다. (마 5:11-12).

Observation and meditation on the text
God has adopted such an unqualified sinner like me as his son. The Holy Spirit has witnessed that I am a child of God with my spirit. It is my great privilege to participate in the sufferings of Jesus who was afflicted due to my sins.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Since I have been adopted as God’s son, I have crucified my fleshly desires with Jesus every day by the power of the Holy Spirit not to put shame on God’s honorable reputation. Since I have been dying to my sins, every day I am enjoying newly restored life.
Decisions and applications
By believing in Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection I have been adopted as God’s son and become his heir. To receive and enjoying my privilege to become God’s child, I voluntarily participate in suffering with the gospel. Surprisingly, I enjoy unbelievable peace. I enjoy great joy in my loss of reputation and chagrin by false accusations. Jesus keeps on encouraging me to rejoice and be glad because my reward in heaven will be great for in the same way people prosecuted the prophets who were before me (Matt. 5:11-12).
