‘주의 종의 삶은 하나님의 뜻 전달이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
에스겔은 낮에는 포로가 떠날 행장을 준비하는 것이었고 밤에는 성벽을 뚫고 포로로 끌려가는 것이었다. 즉, 선지자의 삶은 하나님의 뜻을 삶으로 나타내는 것이다. ‘남은자’ 몇이 깨닫고 순종할 것이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
이사야는 3년을 벌거벗고 살아 불순종한 백성이 당할 수치를 전달했다. 호세아는 창녀 고멜과 결혼해 죄인을 향한 하나님의 사랑을 전했다. 에스겔은 430일을 줄에 매인채 누워 살아 포로 될 백성의 삶을 예언했다. 그리고 포로의 행장, 끌려감을 몸으로 살아 시드기야 왕과 왕족및 포로들이 바벨론에서 죽을것을 예연했다.
결단과 적용
나는 나의 삶으로 어떻게 주님의 뜻을 전달하며 살수 있을까? 억울한 일을 당할 때마다 잠잠히 십자가 지고 끝까지 가서 내가 죽어 버리는 예수의 길을 가리라. 잘 죽기 위해 오늘을 살리라!
‘A prophet lives to deliver God’s will by his life’
Eze 12:1-16
Observation and meditation on the text
Ezekiel lived out God’s message to people by packing his belongings for exile diurnal, and nocturnal by digging through the wall and moving their belongings for exile. In other words, a prophet’s life itself is the display of God’s will through his actions. ‘A few remnant’ among the rebellious would obey God’s will.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Isaiah delivered God’s message that the rebellious would be put into shame by their enemies by living himself naked for 3 years. By getting married to a prostitute Gomer, Hoses revealed God’s mercy and love for the sinners. Ezekiel lived like a prisoner who was bound by rope for 430 days to deliver God’s prophesy for Babylonian captivity. Furthermore, he displayed God’s message that king Zedekiah, royal family and the rebellious would be taken to Babylonian captivity and die there by packing his belongings for exile during daytime and moving it during nighttime.
Decisions and applications
How can I live out God’s message to deliver it to people? I will take up my cross in silence whenever I am falsely accused in afflictions until I should be crucified with Jesus. Therefore, I live daily to die well with Jesus Christ.
