‘나는 가마속에 고기가 되지 않는다’
본문관찰과 묵상
에스겔은 고관 25명중 5명의 불의한 자를 보았다. 그들은 집도 있고 예루살렘성이 가마가 되어 보호하고 자신은 그 속의 고기 라고 안주했다. 저들이 거기서 끌려 나와 칼에 망할 것을 예언했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님의 영이 예루살렘에 임할 심판을 에스겔에게 보이셨다. 죄 가운데 안주하는 자들이 결국 그들이 두려워하는 칼에 망할 것이다. 예루살렘도 저들을 가마속의 고기처럼 보호해 주지 못할 것이다.
결단과 적용
‘악인에게는 그의 두려워하는 것이 임하거니와 의인은 그 원하는 것이 이루어지느니라’ (잠 10:24). 칼을 두려워 하며 우상을 섬기던 자들은 결국 칼에 망한다. 나는 오늘 하나님을 두려워한다. 그것이 나를 악에서 떠나게 하신다 (잠 16:6). 주님을 찬양한다.

Eze 11:1-12
Observation and meditation on the text
Ezekiel was lifted up by the Spirit and saw 25 men and the 5 wicked leaders among them. They declared that they had house and were living in complacency because Jerusalem was the protective pot for them and they were the meat in it. However, God declared that they would be taken out of the pot, and they would be killed by the sword.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The Spirit of the Lord lifted up Ezekiel so that he could see God’s judgment on Jerusalem. Those who were living in complacency in their sinful life would be killed eventually by what they were afraid of, which was the sword. Jerusalem could not be their pot, nor could they not be the meat in it any longer.
Decisions and applications
‘What the wicked dread will overtake them; what the righteous desire will be granted.’ (Pr 10:24). Those who were afraid of the sword will be destroyed by the sword. I fear of the Lord today, which will enable me to leave from wickedness (Pr. 16:6). I praise the Lord for that!
