‘하나님이 주신 땅을 더럽히지 말라.’
본문 관찰과 묵상
해하려는 악의 없이 사고로 사람을 죽인자는 도피성에 거주하여 피의 보복을 받지 않게 했다. 대제사장이 죽기전에는 그 도피성에 거하고 죽은 후 에야 자기가 살던 땅에 돌아가게 했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
도피성을 세우게 하신 이유는 피흘림의 보복을 통하여 하나님 허락하신 땅을 더럽히지 말라는 하나님의 뜻이 있다. 오늘날 자연계는 피흘림으로 더럽혀지고 있다. 피조물이 고통 당하고있다.
결단과 적용
그리스도인은 하나님이 주신 자연을 지키고 생육 번성케 하는 의무가 있다. 당장 나의 손자 때를 생각해 보라. 저들이 이 땅에서 피흘리지 않고는 살수 가 없을 정도로 피조물은 고통속에서 하나님의 아들들이 나타나기를 기다리고 있다. 하나님이 주신 땅을 피를 흘려 더럽히지 말라. 그리스도인이 대대로 지켜야 할 규례다.

Observation and meditation on the text
God had the murderers who accidently killed people live in the cities of refuge so that they might not be killed by their avengers of blood. They must live there until the death of the high priest, and upon his death they could go back to their own land.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The reason why God had the Israelites establish the cities of refuge was to prevent people from polluting God’s land with blood shedding by the avengers of blood. Today, the entire God’s land has been polluted by our blood shedding. God’s creation has been suffering due to our blood shedding.
Decisions and applications
Christians are given accountability to preserve God’s creation including nature so that it may be prosperous and multiplied. If I think about the future for my grandchildren’s life, people and nature cannot avoid severe sufferings due to our blood shedding out of covetousness. Therefore, the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Never pollute God’s land by blood shedding due to our sins, which is God’s will for the Christians throughout the generations.
