‘두려워말라 전쟁은 하나님께 속한 것이다.’
본문 관찰과 묵상
아모리 왕 시혼이 이스라엘이 자신이 땅을 통과하지 못하게 이스라엘을 치러 왔으나 패하였다. 아모리가 모압과 그모스를 치고 빼앗은 영토를 다 잃었다. 바산 왕 옥이 이스라엘을 치러 오자 하나님은 모세에게 두려워하지 말라 하시고 이스라엘이 이겼다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
후에 여호사밧 왕때 모압과 암몬이 이스라엘을 치러왔을 때 여호사밧 왕과 백성들이 금식하며 기도했다. 레위인 아하시엘이 전쟁은 하나님께 속한것이니 두려워말라고 했다. 여호와와 그의 선지자들을 신뢰하면 견고히 서고 형통하리라 선포하였다.
결단과 적용
믿음으로 이스라엘은 적의 대군을 물리치고 그곳을 브라가 골짜기라 했다. 전쟁은 하나님께 속한 것이다. 하나님이 함께 하심으로 믿으면 승리한다. 오늘도 주님과 약속의 말씀을 믿고 담대히 영적전쟁의 하루를 산다. 오늘도 승리하리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
When Sihon king of Amorites mustered his army against the Israelites to prevent them from passing through his land, but they were defeated by the Israelites. They lost all the lands they usurped from Moab and Chemosh. When the Israelites were attacked by Og king of Barshan, God encouraged Moses not to fear of them, and they defeated Barshan.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Later when the Moabites and Ammonites came to wage war, Jehoshaphat and the Judeans fasted in prayers. Jahaziel a Levite challenged the Judeans not to fear of the enemies for the battle was not theirs but God’s. He declared that if they had faith in God and his prophets, they would be upheld and successful.
Decisions and applications
By faith Judah defeated the enemies’ vast army, and called the place ‘the Valley of Barakah,’ as they praised the Lord. Since the battle is God’s not mine, if I believe God is with me, I will win the battle. Therefore, today by faith in Jesus and his words I get involved in a spiritual battle with boldness. I have assurance of my victory today!
