‘내 생각 대신 하나님의 뜻을 좆으라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님의 말씀에 백성들이 회개하는 대신 자신들의 생각대로 행동했다. 아침 일찍 일어나 가나안 땅을 향해 갔다. 불순종의 결과는 아말렉과 가나안사람들에게 패하였다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
내 생각대로 행할 때 하나님은 나를 떠난다. 하나님의 생각과 뜻에 따를 때 힘들어도 그 길이 내가 사는 길이다. 지혜의 영과 계시의 영이 필요하다. 성령의 인도하심을 따르며 살아야 한다.
결단과 적용
공동체가 허물어 지는 이유는 사람들이 자기 생각대로 판단하기 때문이다. 자기 소위에 좋은 대로 행하면 사사기 시대가 열린다. 악한 영이 다스리면 공동체는 큰 고통을 당한다. 순종하며 살리라!
‘Obey the Lord instead of insisting my ego.’
Num 14:39-45
Observation and meditation on the text
The Israelites insisted to enter the land of Canaan instead of repenting of their sins. They set out toward the land of Canaan early the next morning. As a result of their disobedience, they were defeated by the Amalekites and the Canaanites.
I hear the voice of the Lord
God never helps me when I disobey. The only way for me to be alive is to obey the Lord even though it is against my own ego. I desperately need the spirit of wisdom and revelation at every critical moment. I must obey the Lord by being guided by the Holy Spirit.
Decisions and applications
If people live according to his or her own way, the community begins to tumble down. The era of the Book of Judges begins. The community begins to suffer as each member does everything according to everyone’s way. I must obey the Lord in any cases.
