‘예수가 믿음을 주시고 구원하시는 그리스도임을 알라!’
본문관찰과 묵상
유대인들은 예수가 행한 수많은 기적을 보고도 그들의 선입관 때문에 예수가 그리스도임을 깨닫지 못했다. 나사렛 목수의 아들인데 어떻게 구원자인가? 하나님이 보내신 그리스도가 나의 죄 때문에 죽고 부활하여 아버지께로 돌아가신다는 말을 듣고도 예수가 그리스도인줄을 깨닫지 못했다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
제 47대 미국대통령 트럼프 취임식때 빌리 그래함 목사의 아들 프랭클린 그래함이 기도했다. ‘믿음의 주요 온전케 하시는 예수를 바라보자’(히 12:2). 무슨 뜻인가? 그의 말씀을 들으면 믿음을 선물로 받아 구원받는다. 믿음의 결국은 나의 영혼이 구원받게 하시는 하나님의 선물이다(벧전 1:9).
결단과 적용
대통령과 국민 모두가 예수님 중심으로 살아야 미국이 다시 위대하게 될 것이다 (Make America Great Again). 예수의 말씀을 들으면 믿음이 생기게 하시는 믿음을 주시는 pioneer가 예수다. 믿음으로 구원받아야 한다. 믿음을 완성하시는 perfector다. 영혼을 구원하기 위해 십자가에서 죽으시고 사흘만에 부활하사 승천하시고 지금도 우리를 위해 중보하시는 대제사장 예수그리스도를 믿음으로 이 땅에서 천국을 산다. 성령이 또한 우리를 위행 중보기도하심으로 성령으로 예수가 하나님이심을 믿고 전하며 살 때 나와 미국과 믿는 모든 자는 다시 위대하게 될 것이다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Even though the Jewish people experienced numerous miracles Jesus performed, due to their prejudice they could not realize Jesus was Christ. How could a carpenter’s son from Nazareth be our Savior? They did not realize that Jesus was Christ who had died on the cross for their sins and would return to his Father when he was resurrected.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
At the 47th presidential inauguration ceremony Rev. Franklin Graham, the son of the late Billy Graham, prayed. ‘Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus.’ (Heb 12:2). What does it mean? If I listen to his word I will receive faith as free gift so that I may be saved by faith in Jesus Christ. The result of my faith is to receive the salvation of my soul as the end result of my faith, which is God’s gift (I Pet 1:9).
Decisions and applications
Both the president and citizens must live a Christ-centered life, and it will make America Great Again. Jesus is the pioneer of our faith, who gives faith as free gift upon hearing the word of Jesus. I must be saved by faith. Jesus is the perfector of my faith too. My high priest Jesus who was crucified for my sins and resurrected after three days and ascended to heaven is praying for me as my high priest. I must be saved by faith. Jesus is the perfector for my faith. By believing Jesus I have been living the kingdom of God on this earth, who was crucified and resurrected after three days and who was ascended to heaven who is still praying for me as intercessory prayer. I believe that Jesus is God, and by witnessing Jesus as Christ I do believe that both my life and America will be greater again.
