‘하나님을 믿는자는 그의 말씀을 믿는자이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
예수는 자신을 보내신 하나님의 말씀과 뜻대로 행하신다. 그래서 수많은 기적과 능력으로 사람들을 살리셨다. 세례요한이 그를 증거했고 기사와 이적이 증거했고 하나님이 친히 예수를 증거했다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
그러므로 예수의 말씀을 믿는자가 곧 하나님을 믿는자다. 예수의 말씀을 믿는자에게는 그 말씀이 그의 속사람을 다스린다. 어떤 형편과 처지에서도 나는 주님의 말씀을 믿는다.
결단과 적용
챨스 스펄젼의 말대로 믿음이란 약속의 말씀에 나를 던지는 것이다. 말씀이 나의 속사람에 충만히 임하면 하나님의 임재가 임한다. 나의 속사람이 성령이 거하시는 성전이 된다. 성전을 더럽히면 하나님이 더러운 성전은 멸하신다 (고전 3:16-17). 눈에 보이는 성전만 깨끗이 하지말라. 나의 속사람을 말씀, 기도, 성령으로 채우라. 마음에 성전에 하나님의 영광이 거하시게 하라!

Observation and meditation on the text
Jesus declared that he was doing everything according to God’s will and His words who sent him. Therefore, Jesus Christ has saved people by the power of God through the multitude of miracles. John the Baptist testified Jesus, and miracles and wonders, and God himself testified Jesus as Christ Messiah.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Therefore, those who believe in Jesus’ words are the ones who believe in God. Those who believe in Jesus’ words is strengthened their inner beings by his words and by the power of the Holy Spirit. In any situations I believe in the words of Jesus.
Decisions and applications
Charles Spurgeon said, ‘faith is to throw myself upon the words of God.’ If Jesus’ words are fully present in my inner being, I am in God’s presence. Then, my inner being becomes the temple of God where the Holy Spirit resides and dwells. Therefore, ‘if anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person’ (I Co 3:16-17). Never purify only the visible sanctuary! Let my inner being should be filled with Gods’ words, prayer, and the Holy Spirit. Then, the glory of God will resides and dwells in my inner being all the time.
