‘선으로 악을 이기며 살라!’
본문관찰과 묵상
선으로 악을 이기기 위한 실천방안은 첫째, 기뻐하는 자들과 함께 기뻐하고 슬퍼하는 자와 함께 운다. 둘째, 낮은 자리에서 섬긴다. 셋째, 모든 사람과 화평하게 지낸다. 넷째, 원수를 사랑하며 산다.
QT 를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
‘주는 우리의 화평이시라’ (엡 2:14). 예수가 자신을 낮추고 원수된 중간에 막힌 담을 허신 것 처럼 나도 화평의 도구로 산다. 나 때문에 가정과 교회의 공동체가 화평케 한다. 선으로 악을 이긴다.
결단과 적용
악에게 지면 나로 말미암아 공동체가 분열된다. 그리스도인은 악의 도구가 아니다. 예수를 닮아 선으로 악을 이기며 삶으로 화평의 도구가 된다. 나 때문에 가정과 교회와 PGM이 화평케 되면 나는 그리스도인의 삶을 산다. 주여 나를 평화의 도구로 써 주소서!
‘Overcome evil with good!’
Rom. 12:15-21
Observation and meditation on the text
To live a life which overcomes evil with good, there are several Christian strategies. First, I identify myself with those who rejoice and with those who mourn. Second, I serve others in humility. Third, I do my best to live at peace with everyone. Fourth, I do my best do love my enemies as Jesus did.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
‘Jesus is my peace’ (Eph. 2:14). As Jesus Christ has made the Jews and the Gentiles one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, I do try to imitated Jesus and live as a peace maker. I do my best to make my family and church live in peace by overcoming evil with good.
Decisions and applications
If I am being overcome by evil, my community will be divided. As a Christian I must not live as a vehicle of the evil and wickedness. I must imitate Jesus Christ and live as a peace maker by overcoming evil with good. If I bring about peace in family and church, I live my life as a Christian. So, Lord please help me today to be a peace maker in my ministries for churches and PGM.
