‘하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 삶을 살라’
본문관찰과 묵상
지혜로운 사람은 마음과 입술이 정직하여 하나님을 기쁘시게 한다. 헛된 식탐과 물욕을 절제한다. 가난한자와 고아들을 수탈하지 않는다. 멘토의 훈계와 지식의 말씀을 청종한다. 그리고 다른 사람들을 말씀으로 훈계하여 그 영혼을 구원한다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님이 주신 지혜로운 마음과 말로 먼저 나를 채찍질 하여 주님을 기쁘시게 하면 다른 사람들도 훈계하여 지혜로운 자로 살게 할 수 있다. 내가 어리석으면 다른 사람들을 어리석게 만든다. 내가 먼저 변화받아야 변화를 준다.
결단과 적용
복음으로 변화 받은 나는 다른 사람들에게도 복음으로 변화를 줄 수 있다. 그 복음을 전하지 않으면 내게 화가 있을 것 같은 마음으로 산다(고전 9:16). 또한 나 자신을 먼저 복음으로 쳐서 복종시킨다(고전 9:27). 내가 스스로 복음의 종이 된 것은 더 많은 사람들을 얻기 위함이다 (고전 9:19).

Observation and meditation on the text
A wise person pleases the Lord with his honest heart and words in his mouth. The wise controls covetousness and ravenousness of food and money. They never exploit the poor and the orphans. They love to listen to their mentors’ advice of instructions and knowledge. And in turn, they know how to discipline and instruct others with the living word of God to save their souls.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I can instruct and discipline others if I chastise myself with the wisdom of God and his words. If I am foolish, I shall make others foolish too. I must be changed to change others.
Decisions and applications
If I am being transformed by the gospel, I can make influence and impact upon other people to be transformed. I live as if woe would fall upon me if I do not witness the gospel of Jesus Christ (I Co. 9:16). To reach my goal I must discipline myself first (I Co. 9:27). Even though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible (I Co. 9:19).
