‘이 세상의 끝에 나타나는 징조와 끝’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
아름다운 성전 건물도 다 무너질 때가 온다. 거짓선지자들이 나와 사람들을 미혹한다. 전쟁과 기근으로 재난이 닥쳐 서로 미워하나 끝까지 믿음으로 사는 자도 있다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
속이고 속는 자들은 멸망하나 끝까지 믿음을 지키는 자는 구원을 얻는다. 이 세상의 끝, 종말은 복음이 온 천하에 전파된 후에 예수님 재림으로 온다.
3. 결단과 적용
“끝까지 견디는 자는 구원을 얻으리라” (마 24: 13). “근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니 너희는 믿음을 굳건하게 하여 그를 대적하라 이는 세상에 있 너희 형제들도 동일한 고난을 당하는 줄을 앎이라” (벧전 5:8-9).
오늘의 기도
“만물의 마지막이 가까웠으니 그러므로 너희는 정신을 차리고 근신하여 기도하라” (벧전 4:7). 주여 성령의 능력 으로 끝까지 기도하며 능력 받아 고난 속에서 복음을 전하게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Signs of the last days, and the Parousia’
Mt. 24:1-14
1. Observation and Meditation
When the last days come, even beautiful sanctuaries will be destroyed. False prophets will arise and deceive people. The beginning of birth pains will come through wars and famines. People will betray and hate each other. However, anyone who stands firm to the end will be saved.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
Those who deceive and those who are deceived will perish, but those who keep their faith will be saved. The Parousia will come after all nations have heard the gospel.
3. Decisions and Applications
“The one who stands firm to the end will be saved” (Mt. 24:13). “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings” (1 Pet. 5:8-9).
Today's Prayer
“The end of all things is near. Therefore, be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray” (1 Pet. 4:7). Lord, please empower me so that I may preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. May I receive the power of God and pray through the power of the Holy Spirit in the midst of sufferings. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
