‘하나님의 임재가 장애를 건너게 한다’
본문관찰과 묵상
홍해를 건널 때 일어났던 기적이 요단 강 을 건널 때 일어났다. 언약궤를 멘 제사장들이 요단에 들어가자 흘러내리던 물이 그쳤다. 모든 백성이 마른 땅으로 요단을 건넜다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
시대는 바뀌어도 하나님은 변치 않는다. 홍해를 가르고 이스라엘 백성을 건너게 한 하나님이 요단도 건너게 했다. 내가 앞서지 않고 주님의 임재를 따르면 오늘도 내 앞의 홍해나 요단은 갈라진다.
결단과 적용
나는 수많은 홍해와 요단을 건너 여기까지 왔다. 내가 한 것이 아니다. 그래서 고백한다. ‘나의 나 됨은 하나님의 은혜요 내가 모든 사도들 보다 더 많이 수고했으나 내가 한 것이 아니요 오직 나와 함께 하신 하나님의 은혜로라’ (고전 15:10). 할렐루야!

Observation and meditation on the text
The same miracle was brought about when the Israelites crossed the Red Sea at the Jordan River too. No sooner the priests set foot in the Jordan than the water from upstream stopped flowing. All the Israelites crossed Jordan on dry ground.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God never changes even though time changes. God who split the Red Sea so that people could cross it brought about the same miracle at Jordan too. If I follow the presence of God, then God will enable me to cross today’s Red Sea and Jordan River.
Decisions and applications
I have overcome numerous Red Sea and Jordan River up to now. I could not do that. Therefore, I confess, ‘I am what I am by the grace of God that was with me. I worked harder than all the servants of God, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.’ (I Co. 15:10). I praise the Lord! Halleluiah!
