‘나는 누구를 두려워하며 사는가?’
본문관찰과 묵상
십자가에서 죽기까지 일어난 모든일은 성경말씀을 이루게 했다. 유월절 구원의 양 예수는 뼈도 꺽이지않았다(출 12:46). 옆구리를 찌르니 피와 물이 나오는 것을 그들이 보리라(슥 12:10)라는 말씀대로 죽으셨다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
사람의 눈이 무서워 예수믿는 것을 감추고 살았던 아리마대 사람요셉과 공회원 니고데모도 빌라도 총독에게 예수의 시신을 달라고 요청해 자신의 무덤에 예수를 안장시켰다. 나는 누구를 두려워하며 살것인가?
결단과 적용
‘몸은 죽여도 영혼은 능히 죽이지 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 말고 오직 몸과 영혼을 능히 지옥에 멸하시는 자를 두려워하라’(마 10:28). 순간순간 아리마대 사람 요셉처럼, 니고데모처럼, 악한영에게 속아 예수를 못박아 버리라는 소리에 십자가에서 죽으면서도 용서하신 예수처럼 살아가리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
Everything happened on the cross pertaining to the death of Jesus also fulfilled the Scripture. ‘Do not break any of the bones of the Passover Lamb’ (Ex 12:46). ‘They will look on me, the one they have pierced’(Zec 12:10) who would shed his blood and water.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus who was a member of Sanhedrin believed in Jesus secretly, finally came out of their closet and asked Governor Pilate for the body of Jesus. And they buried Jesus Joseph’s tomb which he prepared for himself. Who am I afraid of in my daily life?
Decisions and applications
‘Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell’ (Matt 10:28). I am determined adamantly and obstinately to live my daily life such publically declared their faith in Jesus as Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus, and Jesus who forgave even those who instigated people by shouting out that Jesus should be crucified.
