‘내 몸은 성령이 거하는 성전이다’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
그리스도인에게 주신 자유는 죄로부터의 자유다. 몸은 음란을 위해 있는 것이 아니고 주를 위해 있다. 성령이 거하는 성전인 내 몸으로 하나님께 영광을 돌린다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
죄에서 사함 받고 성령이 거하는 내 몸은 성전이다. 다시 음행의 죄로 내 몸을 더럽히지 않는다. 영이신 주님께 구별된 내 몸으로 구별된 삶을 드리며 산다.
3. 결단과 적용
나의 몸으로 주님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드린다. 다른 사람도 주를 만나 거룩한 삶을 살도록 오늘도 예수 그리스도를 전하며 살아간다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 오늘도 어디에서 무엇을 하든 예수의 향기, 예수의 편지, 예수의 대사로 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit’
I Co. 6:12-20
1. Observation and Meditation
Christian liberty is true freedom from sin, not the freedom to sin. My body does not exist to gratify worldly desires, but to serve and honor God. Therefore, I must glorify the Lord with my body, recognizing that it is the sacred dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
Through this reflection, the Lord reminds me that because my body has been set free from sin, it is now a temple where the Holy Spirit dwells. Consequently, I must never defile my body through sinful actions. Instead, I choose to set my body apart for the Lord—who is Spirit—and offer it daily as a living sacrifice.
3. Decisions and Applications
Consecration: I will offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God (as commanded in Romans 12:1).
Witnessing: I will continually share the Gospel with others, praying that they too may encounter Jesus and choose to live a holy, set-apart life.
Today's Prayer
Lord, empower me today. Wherever I go and whatever I do, let my life be a sweet fragrance of Jesus, a living letter from Christ, and a faithful ambassador of Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
