‘멜기세덱의 서열을 따른 영원한 대 제사장 예수’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님이 다윗의 주 되신 예수 그리스도에게 권능의 규를 주셨다. 멜기세덱의 서열을 따른 대제사장 예수 에게 새벽이슬 같은 청년들이 나온다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님 보좌 우편에 계신 주께서 대적하는 모든 왕들과 나라들을 심판해 멸망시킬 것이다.
3. 결단과 적용
레위지파의 서열을 따른 제사장들이 드리는 짐승 제물로 나의 죄가 사함 받지 못한다. 아브라함이 만난 살렘 왕 멜기세댁은 예수의 현현이었다. 그가 나를 구원하셨다.
오늘의 기도
자신을 화목제물로 드리심으로 단번에 영원히 나의 죄를 대속하신 예수님을 찬양합니다. 멜기세덱의 서열을 따른 영원한 대 제사장 예수 그리스도께 나의 무거운 짐을 드립니다. 오늘도 주안에서 참된 안식을 누리며 살게 하소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Jesus is a priest in the order of Melchizedek’
Ps. 110:1-7
1. Observation and meditation on the text
God enthroned Jesus, who is David’s Lord, and extended His mighty scepter from Zion. Jesus’ young warriors will willingly offer themselves to Him, appearing like dew from the womb of the morning.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Through this reflection, the Lord reminds me that Jesus Christ is exalted and seated at the right hand of God. He is the sovereign judge who will ultimately triumph over all earthly kings and nations that rebel against God's authority.
3. Decisions and applications
My sins could never be truly washed away by the animal sacrifices offered by the Levitical priests. Melchizedek, the King of Salem whom Abraham met, serves as a powerful picture (or theophany) of Jesus—our eternal High Priest. It is Jesus alone who saves me from my sins.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I praise You for redeeming me by sacrificing Yourself as the ultimate peace offering on my behalf. Today, I surrender all of my heavy burdens to You, Jesus, my everlasting priest. Break the chains of guilt and shame in my life so that I may truly walk in the genuine freedom You provide. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
