‘하나님이 주시는 대로 받는 것이 믿음이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
요셉지파는 야곱이 축복한 대로 가나안의 북쪽 풍요로운 땅을 분 깃으로 받았다. 야곱의 예언대로 둘째 에브라임이 먼저 분 깃을 받고 장남 므낫세가 두번째로 받았다. 에브라임은 게셀에 거주하는 가나안 족속을 쫓아내지 않고 실익을 위해 노동력을 얻었다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
내가 받는 축복은 출생한 순서가 아니라 하나님의 창조질서에 따른다. 요셉의 두 아들은 야곱이 손자지만 아들처럼 여겼다. 그리고 에브라임이 더 큰 분 깃을 받았다. 더 받을수록 에브라임은 더 갖기 위해 가나안 족속을 쫓아내지 않고 노예로 이용했다.
결단과 적용
하나님이 주시는 대로 받는 것이 기업이요 분 깃이다. 내게 주신 은혜를 족한줄로 여긴다. 다른 사람들이 더 많이 받고 더 크게 쓰임 받아도 질투하지 않는다. 겸손히 내게 주신 은혜를 감사하며 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
As Jacob prophesied, Joseph tribe received the fertile northern land of Canaan as their allotment. As Jacob declared, the second son Ephriam received first, and the first son Manasseh received secondly. Ephraim did not drive the Canaanites living in Gezer to exploit their labor.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I receive my inheritance not by the order of birth but by the order of God’s creation. Joseph’s two sons were Jacob’s grandchildren, but Jacob adopted them as sons. And Ephraim the second son received more allotment. The more Ephraim received, the more he grew pride and covetousness enough to keep Canaanites in his land and used them as their slaves.
Decisions and applications
It is God’s inheritance and allotment when I receive as God gives to me whatever that maybe. And I declare that God’s grace is sufficient for me. I never jealous of others who may receive more and larger inheritance and used by God more and larger than me. I am satisfied by what God has given to me humbly.
