‘누가 지성소에 들어갈 자격이 있는가?’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
누가 하나님을 대면하기 위해 지성소에 들어갈 수 있는가? 마음과 몸에 할례를 받지 아니한 이방인은 들어갈 수 없다. 우상을 섬겼던 레위사람들은 제사장으로서 여호와를 섬길 수 없지만, 성소를 보살피는 봉사는 할 수 있다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
성소에서 주님께 영광을 돌리는 참된 예배자는 육신의 할례를 받은 자가 아니라, 영으로 할례 (마음의 할례) 를 받고 거듭난 자다 (롬 2:28-29). 오늘 나는 거듭난 크리스천으로서 마음을 다해 주님을 찬양하고, 주님의 임재 안에서 주님의 이름을 높이며 주님께 영광을 돌린다.
3. 결단과 적용
“사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라를 볼수 없느니라” (요 3:3). 나는 예수님께서 십자가에 못 박히심으로 열어 놓으신 새로운 살 길을 통해 천국 들어와 하나님 나라를 살아가고 있다(히 10:20).
오늘의 기도
주님, 주님의 첫 번째 오심을 통해 이 땅 위에 "이미 임하였으나 아직 완성되지 않은(already but not yet)" 주님의 나라 로 들어가게 하소서. 주님께서 두 번째로 다시 오실 때까지 여기서 주님과 함께 천국을 누리며 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Who is worthy to draw near to God in the Most Holy Place?’
Ezekiel 44:1–14
1. Observation and meditation on the text
The passage makes it clear that uncircumcised foreigners—those lacking both outward covenant and inward devotion—have no access. Furthermore, even among the Levites, those who led God's people into idolatry forfeited their priestly privilege to offer sacrifices, though in God's mercy, they were still permitted to care for the sanctuary's secondary duties.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Spiritual Insight True access to God is never a matter of external lineage or physical routine, but of inward regeneration. As Paul writes in Romans 2:28–29, real circumcision is of the heart, accomplished by the Spirit. As a born-again Christian, my access to God rests entirely on this spiritual transformation. Today, I am invited to step into His presence with a sincere, worshipful heart.
3. Decisions and applications
Jesus made it clear: "No one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again" (Jn. 3:3). Because Christ opened a "new and living way" through His body on the cross (Heb. 10:20), I don't just look forward to heaven in the future—I can experience the reality of His reign in my daily life right now.
Today's Prayer
Lord, thank You for establishing Your Kingdom on earth through Jesus' first coming. Help me live fully in this "already, but not yet" reality, enjoying daily communion with You as I eagerly await Your return. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
